Case Studies: Guildford Plaza, Guildford

This development is the construction of 301 nr. co-living studios and associated social spaces with a basement containing car parking. The units are spread over four individual buildings connected by a joint podium slab at ground floor. The heights of the blocks range from 5 to 7 nr. Storeys. The scheme will include a range of communal spaces and facilities including kitchen and dining spaces, lounges, gym and yoga studios, a launderette and co-working spaces, all of which promote social interaction and help to develop personal and professional networks. At the same time, each individual also has their own private space, larger than a typical room in a flat-share, with their own bathroom and kitchenette.

We are delighted to deliver the Drylining works on this project for CField construction. The specification for this project is in British Gypsum. This development is designed by Ruff Architects. This project incorporates the installation of Pods within the units as the bathroom space. Part of our scope was to push these Pods into place and then close up the surrounding walls.
